The much anticipated Valentine’s Day Regatta is scheduled to kick off tomorrow Saturday 11th February, 2012 at 12pm at the Jolly Harbour Marina Village. Entrant’s party takes place this evening at 6pm at West Point Bar at the Marina Basin. Three (3) exciting races are scheduled daily and climaxes on Sunday 12th. Results from all races will be published daily on the Billboard at West Point.
Participants and fans of sailing are invited to the Regatta Party which will be held at West Point Bar tomorrow night January 11th with Live Music by Rico and Foreplay.
The final race concludes on February 12th. The prize giving ceremony celebrating the winners from the Valentine’s Day Regatta takes place on Sunday 12th February beginning at 6pm at West Point Bar. Caribbean Sailing Week 2012 will take place on the islands of Antigua and Barbuda and will be the biggest event of the winter season for all fans of the sail.
The Business Regatta – A great way to make new business contacts, get to know their colleagues and business partners, and attract media attention to their brand. But the main thing – a chance to discover sailing, join a prestigious club of successful and active people.
Each participant of the regatta will be able to:
- create its own team and perform under the name of its company;
- Acquire management skills in yacht handling (participation in the regatta will count as seamanship, required for certification as International Yacht Training);
